Ronaq Restaurant – Authentic Indian and Pakistani Cuisine in Comely Bank, Edinburgh

Welcome to Ronaq Restaurant, one of Edinburgh’s leading Indian and Pakistani dining destinations. Located in the heart of Comely Bank, just a mile from the city centre, we are close to popular attractions including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Botanic Garden, Inverleith Park and The Grange Cricket Ground.

Since opening in May 2014, Ronaq has been dedicated to offering a refined dining experience that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of the Indian subcontinent. The name Ronaq means brightness and joy, and that spirit is reflected in every dish we serve and every guest we welcome.

Our chefs bring over twenty-five years of experience in traditional Indian and Punjabi cooking. They use time-honoured techniques such as slow-cooking aromatic Karahi dishes in traditional woks, marinating meats overnight and balancing bold spices with subtle layers of flavour.

We also offer a Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) policy for wine and beer with no corkage fee. Please note that spirits are not permitted and soft drinks are available from our menu.
